I am excited to announce the the 2nd Annual 1-Pitch Warrior Coaches Clinic! Our goal is to bring you the best info from the best coaches to help transform your programs and players. I am super excited about this year’s line-up! Again, it will be a one-day intense coaching clinic. There are only 100 seats! I am anticipating this to fill up very quickly!
The beauty of having your own clinic is you get to decide who you want to speak. I have invited some of the best coaches college and high school has to offer. The speakers will include: Marc Rardin (Iowa Western CC Head Coach, National Champions 2010, 2012, and 2014) I have heard him speak at multiple venues across the country and he is in my opinion one of the best, Pete Lauritson (Former Hitting Coach at NIACC and now the Hitting Coach for the University of Iowa) widely regarded as one of the best around with what he was able to do at NIACC and many of you may have read about his philosophies in Collegiate Baseball, Michael Barta (Head Baseball Coach Johnston High School, Iowa State Champion 2013), Casey Klunder (Head Baseball Coach Waverly- Shell Rock, Iowa State Champion 2012, 2013) and myself.

"Pete is one of the best hitting coaches in the country"
The offensive numbers they put up at NIACC were incredible. Pete is a tireless worker, an amazing teacher, and is well-respected by everyone he has worked with.
Lauritson has been a member of the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Trojans' coaching staff for 13 seasons. He joined the program in 2004 as the hitting coach and was offensive coach and recruiting coordinator from 2013-16.
Under Lauritson's tutelage, NIACC was an offensive power and the program flourished, appearing in the NJCAA Division II College World Series three times (2013, 2015, and 2016) during his tenure. Over the past two seasons, the Trojan offense scored 1,151 runs, hit 212 home runs, 265 doubles, 1,366 hits, walked 709 times, and posted a .448 on-base percentage.
In 2016, NIACC finished 47-16 and shared the ICCAC regular season title in a season where it shattered the record books offensively in making its second consecutive World Series appearance. The Trojans won their second straight regional championship after being an offensive juggernaut.
NIACC ranked in the top 10 in the nation in eight categories: first in walks (368), second in home runs (130) and slugging percentage (.612), fourth in on-base percentage (.451), runs (610), hits (692), doubles (132), and ninth in batting average (.344).
